Share Kai

Share Kai uses kai/food to bring people together and help remove barriers to participating in our society.

Share Kai is a collaboration between InCommon, SEWN and the former refugee women from Afghanistan, Eritrea and Nepal/Bhutan who are members of the Share Kai Cooks Collective.

Together we create opportunities for our community to actively engage, learn from and make meaningful connections with those from different backgrounds.

We encourage everyone to participate in bringing about a more inclusive society by joining our events, volunteering with us or supporting the mahi/work of our Cooks Collective through ordering their catering or purchasing lunch at their Share Kai Café.

Learn more about Share Kai, the diverse cultures and cuisines who call Ōtautahi/Christchurch home and our upcoming events.
